 Every year at the University of South Carolina School of Law, the Phi Delta Phi Legal Service Fraternity sponsors a Faculty Auction.  The Faculty Auction is a fundraising event in which faculty, staff, and members of the community donate items that faculty members auction off, and the proceeds are donated directly to a chosen charitable organization.

This academic year, our auction will take place on November 15, 2012 and we will donate all auction proceeds to the James L. Petigru Public Interest Law Society Summer Grant Program.  This program places law students in public interest positions during the summer. Thus, the students gain an invaluable experience while enriching the community through their work.  The University of South Carolina PILS Summer Grant Program offers students the unique opportunity to dedicate themselves to public service endeavors full time during the summer months.

Every year, Phi Delta Phi relies on the support of the community for the continued success of our charity auction. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated, namely gift certificates, items to place in our silent or live auction and/or monetary donations. We will advertise the names of our contributors in our auction program to acknowledge your contribution and to thank you for your generous support. Lawyers, judges, law faculty, and students all attend the event. This is a great opportunity to increase awareness about your location in Columbia and build goodwill in your community!
